Aim: The idea of the club is provide a forum for talks and events on a wide range of topics with an opportunity for people to get together. Refreshments will be available and occasionally a raffle at the meetings.
Aim: To organise the Plant & Craft Sale in May and the Musbury Village Show in August.
Activities: Everything to do with making these events happen: finding people to grow and nurture plants; contacting stall holders; drawing up a show schedule which confirms the programmes and entry categories; securing competition judges; helping set up and take-down, organising raffles, prizes and refreshments; engraving the cups; managing the budget, etc.
Aim: This lively branch celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2022. Open to local women of all ages, it offers a range of activities including a book club, choir, home craft, skittles and tea and chat. As well as theatre and other outings, the regular meetings feature speakers on topics ranging from bee keeping to safe driving. A different local charity is supported each year.
Membership: about 40.
Meetings: held on the second Tuesday evening each month in Whitford Village Hall.
