The Community Playing Field, administered by the Parish Council, is located at the top end of the village, on the corner of Doatshayne Lane and Doatshayne Close, next to the allotments – see map. Entry is via a gate in Doatshayne Close. It comprises a small football pitch, swings, a slide, nest swing, balance trail, toddler rocker and a climbing frame, plus a small picnic area.
The regeneration project has almost been completed; new safety surfaces and two new pieces of equipment have been installed. A new picnic table is the last item to be made and installed this year (2025).
