The Hind (renamed from The Golden Hind in November 2018) is a Freehouse run as a traditional English village pub by our landlord and landlady, Adrian and Emma Shrubb, who arrived on 23th Sept 2016.
There are scenic views across the Axe Valley from the front beer garden and boules piste. There is a newly-built restaurant and skittle alley off the the existing lounge; the rear beer garden is enclosed and lawned. There is a large car park adjacent to the pub, off the main A358 road. The Hind hosts darts, boules, skittles (in the new alley) and cribbage teams (new members always welcome). Darts are often played in the public bar, whilst the lounge is welcoming to families. Visitors with dogs are most welcome.
