Musbury Garden Club’s new season of talks opens with a welcome return by speaker John Horsey.
A garden in the winter doesn’t have to be drab and brown. John will give tips about how to plan for and keep a winter garden going with colour and shape.It can bring together coloured stems, bark and foliage texture with winter flower and fragrance.
John has over 45 years experience in the horticultural industry, both as a grower and as a lecturer. He has covered landscaping, unusual perennials, wildlife and how best to maintain our gardens. This expertise has brought him RHS medals and other gardening awards. Prior to now running his current garden courses at Burrow Farm, John founded a degree course based in garden heritage at Hestercombe.
The talk will start as usual at 7.30 pm
Refreshments (included in the entry) available from 7pm BEFORE the talk
