The Gardens and Plants of William Morris

William Morris was an English textile designer, artist, writer, and socialist associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the English Arts and Crafts Movement. In this talk Dr Don Archer will give his view of the many plants William Morris incorporated in his designs for wallpaper, textiles and stained glass, from the wild blackberry to exotic roses, reflecting his passion for a more natural world.

Of interest to gardeners and artists alike.

The talk will start as usual at 7.30pm
