Planting for Problem Gardens

Monday 20th May 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Claire Hart will join us on Monday 20 May to cover “Planting for Problem Gardens”. Her talk will look at windy aspects, as well as both dry shady areas and wet boggy areas. She will give us tips on how to camouflage unattractive sections of our gardens and recommend to us plants for troublesome areas.

Claire did a degree in agriculture (many moons ago!) and has been lucky enough to follow her passion for growing in setting up Grassroots PR, which specialises in horticultural PR. She has worked with the likes of Kings Seeds (for whom she project managed a Gold Medal at RHS Chelsea), Marshalls, Suttons and Dobies.

Seeds will actually be on sale in aid of Green Fingers Charity- which makes sensory gardens for Children’s Hospices.
