East Devon Wild Flowers and Butterflies- NB Change of talk

Monday 14th November 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Unfortunately Jenny Short has injured her back so her talk on Ponds and Water features has been rescheduled for 15 May 2017.

Luckily Musbury’s very own resident expert Mike Lock has agreed to bring forward his talk for this evening.

Butterflies tend to like specific habitats because they offer suitable food plants. This evening Mike will be taking a look at some of the more striking flowers to be found in the different natural habitats within East Devon – seashore, heath and chalk grasslands – and the different sorts of butterflies attracted by the flowers.

Dr Mike Lock is a well known botanist who worked for a number of years at Kew Gardens before he retired to Musbury.

The talk will start as usual at 7.30pm.

Refreshments (included in the entry) available from 7pm BEFORE the talk
