Cut Flower Growing

Join local grower, garden designer and florist Angela Brooke-Smith for this first talk of Musbury Garden Club’s new season.
Angela will explain how she got started in the business and how gardeners can create their own cutting garden. She will cover the best sites to choose and the best flowers to grow for a long season of colour. She will give tips on caring for seedlings, transplanting and propagation. She will also demonstrate how to make a hand-held bouquet from the flowers you grow. Based in Chardstock, Angela’s general growing conditions will be shared by many of us so do come along. We always welcome new members.
