Axe Valley Remembers

On 10 November at 7.30pm in Colyford Memorial Hall, the centenary of the signing of the 1918 Armistice which brought an end to the Great War will be remembered in a special festival of song, poetry and drama. Drama societies across the area have combined to form a one-off group, the Axe Valley Players, who will present the show in association with the Axe Valley Community Choir (musical director Edward Jacobs), forming a company in excess of 70 performers. The festival is officially supported by the Royal British Legion to whom all proceeds will go.
