Buses & Community Transport
The local Musbury bus timetable also gives details of other connections. There is a comprehensive school bus service for normal school hours.
The National Bus Pass is available to older people or those with certain disabilities.
There are a number of Community Transport services in the area, which are generally run by volunteer drivers on a donation basis (although some have a specific charge per mile). Our nearest train station is Axminster, where the line has recently been upgraded from a single to a dual track service.

Taxis
Taxis around Musbury (and indeed surrounding towns) need to be booked in advance. Bear in mind that a lot of local darts and skittles teams use taxis on weekday evenings, so they can be very thin on the ground. This is also true during the school run during weekdays. Roads
Although Musbury is only a small village, parking can be a problem. If you are visiting Musbury please use the car park at the top of Church Hill (by the school and church – see map). Mothers dropping off their children at the Primary school have been invited to use the car park at The Hind.
Devon County Council is the highway authority and responsible for the repair and maintenance of most public roads in Devon.
